The Company: Crowd Earner
Founder/ CEO: Annonymous
Affiliate Fees: $20
The website shows you what appears to be a simple and easy way to make tons of money. There is no doubt you can make money with this, but there are some very real concerns with the underlying business model which is token based cash gifting. I do not recommend this.
This was launched in September of 2016 with no way of knowing who is behind this since the site was registered anonymously and no one has claimed ownership of it. The website states that the platform is "owned by everyone who creates an account" and that this is a 'guaranteed' way of being successful online. They go on to say that it's all very simple and easy to make lots of money:
Easily receive over $450,000.00 in Donations at completing your easy 3x6 donation matrix
The question is, will it really be that easy to make almost half a million dollars? Unfortunately, the answer is a resounding no and I will explain exactly why I say this so you can make your own mind up.
What Is Crowd Earner?
The site claims to be a "donation based platform" where business can donate money to one another. Let me clear about something, this is cash gifting. Every single person joining this is expecting to gift and be gifted in return, people giving donations do not expect something in return. Plain and simple.
How It Works
The idea is to sign up for free, gift $20 to your sponsor and their sponsor and so on, to become eligible to receive gifts from those whom you sponsor into your downline. So, you gift whoever referred you the first $20, and the $30 gift goes to whoever sponsored them and so on up the line. You must make 6 seperate gifting payments to your upline in order to qualify to earn on all 6 levels in your downline.
The downline model being used is called a '3X6 forced matrix' whereby you are at the top and there are 3 people under you on your 1st level. Then, each of your 3 referrals can then get 3 referrals each themselves and so on, down 6 levels deep. The end results is 729 people in your downline and this is the only way your downline can be built.
The number of referrals on each level of your downline and what each completed level is worth is as follows:
1st Level: Costs $20 in gifting to qualify for $60 in gifting payments from 3 referrals.
2nd Level: Costs $30 in gifting to qualify for $270 in gifting payments from 9 referrals.
3rd Level: Costs $50 in gifting to qualify for $4,050 in gifting payments from 27 referrals.
4th Level: Costs $200 in gifting to qualify for $16,200 in gifting payments from 81 referrals.
5th Level: Costs $300 in gifting to qualify for $72,900 in gifting payments from 243 referrals.
6th Level: Costs $500 in gifting to qualify for $364,500 in gifting payments from 729 referrals.
Your completed matrix will hold 1,092 referrals. That doesn't seem like a huge amount of recruiting to make almost 500k in total, and it's not. So what the heck is my problem then? Let me explain...
A Closer Look At The Details
It is important to understand that you don't just need to fill 1,092 positions to make the kind of money they are showing you. At a glance, this might seem to be the case but it really isn't, not even close. You see, when 3 people join your 1st level you will make a cool $60. Easy done. However, when you want to receive the higher payments from the lower levels of your downline, things aren't quite so simple!
Here's why... when referrals join your 2nd level, they are going to be gifting your level 1 referrals, not you. What? Yes, this is how the system works.
It is only when your level 2 referrals are motivated to unlock their 2nd level that they are going to pay YOU the $30 gift. Some will upgrade right away, some will wait until they have their first 2-3 people which means you'll need to fill a god chunk of their 2nd level (which is your 3rd level) to nudge these referrals in the right direction of upgrading.
This continues on each level and requires more and more recruiting the deeper you go.
I get this is confusing and I don't mean to ramble on about the details here, but this is where many come unstuck with these kinds of systems, by overlooking the details. I try to demystify things as much as possible to give you guys a better chance of evaluating things and making a more informed decision.
Anyway, the take home here is that in order to receive commissions on all 6 levels, you are going to be doing WAY more recruiting than you might think. I'm not saying that this level of recruiting is impossible, but I know I would want to know this if I was considering joining.
Building Your Downline
Building your downline is all good and well IF you know how to drive tons of traffic to you affiliate promo pages and sign up new referrals on a daily basis. This is the most critical part of the system.
There are only 2 ways to drive traffic to your affiliate pages: free and paid.
There are pros and cons with each method and both can work very well. However, I can safely say that if you don't know much about either method, this is going to be very difficult for you. To make matters worse, the system does not provide any training on getting quality traffic so you will be up for extra money and time in learning this. Granted, you should always want to be learning anyway and spending money on your education is a good thing, yes.
However, this is an entire learning curve in itself and without the proper direction and guidance you could easily become lost and throw the towel in. Unfortunately, this happens all too often. I am not saying this to put you off but I really can't overstate how important this is for you.
How Long Will This System Last?
Up to this point I have talked about some of the work involved and (hopefully) debunked the myth that it will be "quick and easy" to make tons of money with this. However, I'm personally not phased by working hard to achieve my goals so this is not what I have an issue with. Not at all.
The key issue with a system like this is really only ONE thing- sustainability. You see, it is mathematically impossible for a scheme like this to last for any length of time. This is not my opinion, this is pure logic.
The reason for this is that there is NO product and the only money coming in is from new members. There are only so many people willing to join something like this, so when recruiting inevitably slows up, so does the money people are looking to make. This is just how things work.
Is The 'Token' Based System a Good Idea?
The website states that they do the token system to make it easier for everyone, I am not so sure this is the real reason they are using tokens.
For starters, the tokens are controlled by the anonymous admin. They are the ones processing the token transfers between members. You gift tokens, and tokens are gifted to you which are redeemed for money. Fair enough.
However, when this system starts to go sideways (which it will) any money you have tied up in tokens at the time are at risk of not being paid out. Think about it, why would they stick around and pay everyone what they are owed when they know the system is starting to collapse? You don't even know who they are! The likely scenario and what happens a lot of the time, is they take your money and run.
There is a reason these kinds of sites are being run anonymously, when this falls apart, they'll just launch a new scheme and lure new people in. All I can do is tell you what I know and try to warn you.
It would be nice to think you could just sign up and make some easy money with a system like this. I get it. I mean, who doesn't want to make easy money right? Unfortunately, making money online is not that easy and there are some very real risks involved with a system like this.
No doubt you will see people showing you how they are making money with this and like I said earlier, some people will. I am not denying this. But getting paid at the beginning is not the issue, it's how long you will be getting paid and in the end, getting paid what you are rightfully owed.
Keep in mind also, this is a best case scenario IF you know how to drive traffic to your affiliate links. Learning this takes time and money and depending on where you go to learn, can be a nightmare in itself. Whatever you decide, at least now you have some insight into how these things work and can make a more informed decision about joining and understand some of the key risks involved.
