There’s a couple of things I liked about this company and a few I really didn’t. So is Get Cash For Surveys a legit way to make some money on the Internet, or is it just another click for coins scenario?
Get Cash For Surveys Is Legitimate… But
While GetCashForSurveys is not a scam it certainly has some ridiculous and unsubstantiated claims on the sales page. You are told that by signing up you are going to be making thousands each month with paid surveys.
Gary Mitchell is also claiming you make $5 for every survey and there’s a little calculator to work out your income potential. I like that he has set it to somewhere in the ballpark of reasonable but it is still not a true picture of what to expect going into this.
This is simply not true in my experience or in anyone’s experience I have ever spoken with regarding paid surveys. But I’ll cover that in my review in a moment.
After putting in your email you get taken to the payment page, yes that’s right a PAYMENT page! I could hardly believe this guy was actually asking me to pay to do surveys. You could literally do surveys anywhere online for free, so why would I pay Gary $74 to join up?
Guru Style Pricing
After getting over the shock of having to pay to use this service you soon realise that a ‘coupon’ code has been placed to the left that you can use to reduce the price. What a relief… now it’s only half a rip off! Ok maybe that’s a little harsh but you get my point.
The whole purpose of this coupon is simply to make you think the service is worth more than it really is. Who wouldn’t use it, so clearly $37 is the real price.
Then I decided to check what happens if you click out of the window, sure enough it locks you in and says “hey we can sign you up for only $27 now. And then it happened again to bring the price down to $12.
So essentially the price went from $74 to $12. Now 12 bucks is probably fair for what you are getting I suppose (maybe) but still I would never pay to do a survey or get information from this guy that I could get anywhere else for free.
That’s just me though, I cannot see the sense in this unless it was saving me a fair amount of time. The fact is there are free websites comparing survey sites so…
I’m never a fan of this kind of pricing though, if you’re legit then just tell it like it is instead of trying to make as much cash as possible out of people when the real value is only 12 bucks!
What You Are Getting For The Money
Pretty much what you are paying for is a software that brings a bunch of different survey places together to make it easy for you to work out which ones are worth using. There’s also some ridiculous up-selling to contend with so be ready for that.
Can You Make Real Money With Paid Surveys?
There is no doubt you can make some extra cash doing paid surveys and if you have nothing better to do, why not give it a go. Legitimate companies are willing to pay you for your opinion as it is valuable market research data they are chasing.
For anyone looking to actually build a solid and lasting income and in something that can generate passive income, this is not for you.
In my experience the best you will really be hoping for is a couple of hundred dollars per month at best, maybe you have had better luck but this is what I have come to realise.
You’ll Be Clicking For Pennies With GetCashForSurveys.com
The income is so low with this because (like most survey companies) you are not always receiving a consistent supply of actionable and profitable surveys. There is an application process and you may not always be accepted.
Even after that point, most of them are not worth very much money at all and some only pay you in gift cards… I want money not gift cards! The point I am trying to make here is that don’t be mistaken into thinking you are just going to sign up, get paid $5 for every survey and do that consistently all day every day to make a full time income.
This simply does not happen.
Most of the time you will probably average a few dollars an hour at best, well below minimum wage as a best case scenario. This doesn’t make it a scam, it’s just how these kinds of things are.
My Final Thoughts
While this may be a nice way to make some extra cash it will consume a fair bit of your time for very minimal results. Personally I like the idea of maximising my time and energies into something that will pay off well and that can be automated to an extent.
With paid surveys you are exchanging your time for pennies and it really isn’t a business at all.
Do you have experience with this or any other paid survey companies? Let me know about them below, thanks in advance for contributing 🙂
