Program: Take Surveys For Cash
Review Summary: Another guru selling unsuspecting people access to free survey websites. Taking surveys does not pay the kind of money he is promising. In fact, paying for this makes your profit worse than average since it provides no unique value. I do not recommend this.
Price: $12-$39 + upsells
What Is Take Surveys For Cash?
The website is owned by Jason White and was registered in 2011. The story goes that White is “the survey king” and teaches people how to make $500 per 2 hour survey, or $250 per hour.
There’s lots of hype and income testimonials used to convince people it’s legit along with various other guru tactics like upselling people into more products after the initial purchase.
Here’s a screenshot of the sales funnel for this product:
As you can see, the real price is $12 but this only becomes evident once you try and exit the website twice.
After you buy there’s $85 in additional spending that you’ll be convinced is ‘necessary’ to really make money.
How It Works
Once you sign up and do your homework, you’ll realise the whole thing is pretty lame.
Taking surveys does not pay that much and no one is making hundreds of dollars per hour using White’s magic formula I can assure you.
The reason I have declared this a scam is because it provides no value to people in itself.
Taking surveys is legit if you can find a worthwhile company to work with but again, it will not pay you anywhere near that kind of money.
Based on my experience they pay an average of $1-$3 per hour at best when you take the following into account:
- The downtime between surveys trying to ‘qualify’
- The low paying amounts on each survey
- Money wasted on trial offers that charge you unknowingly
- Getting gift cards and other crap when you want cash
Making Money Referring People
The real money is made when people refer people to programs like this through affiliate marketing. This absolutely blows the chicken feed people get for doing surveys out of the water.
Affiliate marketing takes work and effort to get started though and you do need to understand the best way to promote products online. Essentially, it comes down to driving lots of targeted traffic and the best way to do that is with a relevant website.
In my opinion, there’s way better and more ethical products to promote than this rubbish. You don’t need to use hype and mislead people to make money online I can assure you.
It might convert well because people get ‘hooked’ easier with all the hype but how much are people going to trust you if you’re selling them this kind of junk? I personally wouldn’t promote this kind of thing and there’s really no need to.
What I Liked
- The product is sold through ClickBank so at least there’s a solid 60 day refund policy in place
What I Didn’t Like
- Deceptive marketing claiming it’s super easy to make hundreds of dollars using the ‘kings’ strategies
- Provides no value outside of what is achievable for free
- Upsells people even more junk on their way into the members area
Making money with survey taking is certainly possible but it’s a long and slow road to making very small amounts of money.
White attempts to convince people he has the ‘secret strategy’ that no one else knows about to help you make tons of cash this way. The reality is, that’s just marketing hype. No one is making that kind of money and with takesurveysforcash.com your profit is actually going to be hindered considering the money you are paying to access otherwise free membership sites.
I do not recommend this.
