Program Name: Get Paid Social
Summary: A platform created by Jeff Long that allows you to get paid for doing simple tasks in addition to earning revenue by referring others to use the same platform.
Price: Free/ $19.97 + $9.97 per month
What Is It?
This is a platform that allows people to post tasks they need done such as getting Facebook likes, shares and website visits.
Here’s a screenshot I took that shows a list:
People that complete these tasks make a small amount of money and have the ability to refer others to make even more money.
Jeff states that this is not an mlm opportunity but there are clearly 2 levels in your downline… that is an mlm lol!
The concern I have with this is that the kinds of tasks people are being asked to do are kind of spammy and something that could see a lot of people having their social media accounts banned by doing.
There are surveys and other tasks though to be fair but using legitimate social media account to artifically like and share for money is a big no no.
The Free Membership
The free option doesn’t actually pay you anything, it’s the 7 days free trial of premium that allows you to earn money.
During this 7 days you are able to complete up to 25 tasks per day which from what I have seen is about $0.02-$0.05. At that rate you’d be in line to earn between $3.50-$8.75 during your free trial.
That is pretty low but I guess it depends on how long each task takes though, it’s certainly not why I would sign up anyway.
What about referring people?
During your 7 day trial you can earn money by referring people to use the platform based on the 20% transaction fee the company scoops off each task. Then (out of that transaction fee) you pocket 40% of this.
For example: You recruit John and he completes 20 tasks per day during his 7 day trial period that each pay $0.05. John completed $7 worth of takes in that week, and keeps $5.60 of this since the company has pocketed $1.40 (20% transaction fee). You then earn 40% of the $1.40 transaction fee, meaning you’ve earned $0.56.
Again, this is not much but this is only a 7 day taste anyway. In my opinion you wouldn’t sign up to this if you didn’t want to upgrade, if you’re serious about earning that is.
This is where the real money is made with this, it costs $19.97 one time & $9.97 p/m thereafter.
Unlock More Stuff: The first thing here is that you unlock a ton of extra ways to earn money including unlimited tasks, gold tasks that pay higher and priority access to tasks. Gold tasks are said to pay as high as $0.50-$3 each which is a lot better.
Second Tier Earnings: This allows you to earn 10% on the transaction fees from your referrals referrals, the same transaction fee structure I explained above except you are getting 10% instead of 40%.
Upgrade Commission: Earn 40% commission on your direct referrals upgrading and 10% when their referrals upgrade. At $19.97 this would work out to $7.98 and $1.97 respectively.
Residual Commissions: You can earn $3 on direct referrals monthly membership fees and $2 on their referrals monthly commission fees.
In terms of making money through the tasks and referring people this is a pretty reasonable monthly fee to be paying. If you are looking to make the real money though you need to learn the art of driving traffic and in order to get referrals.
In my opinion the best way to get traffic to an offer like this is to build a website that will drive tons of targeted free traffic from Google, Yahoo and Bing.
There is not training for getting traffic inside the members area other than some kind of Snapchat traffic program for $47.
What I Liked
- The system is fairly cost effective and you can try it for free
- Simple way to make a little extra money doing tasks
What I Didn’t Like
- Doing tasks won’t make you much money, this is more about recruiting people
- Not much training on how to get leads which is the most important part if you want to recruit
- Spam like tasks could cause you to have your accounts banned
If you’re looking for a way to make some extra cash doing simple tasks then this may facilitate that. The tasks would want to be paying higher to offset the $9.97 monthly fee though, at the trial rates I cannot see this being very worthwhile.
It seems the real money is made by recruiting others, who recruit others.
The kind of tasks people are being asked to do lead me to wondering how sustainable the growth is going to be for the service itself. A stronger focus on recruiting may result given the nature of the tasks and the fact that much more money is made recruiting.
If there is no longterm value in the service itself, GPS will inevitably collapse just like any other recruiting scheme.
