Product: Lazy Profit Explosion
What Is Lazy Profit Explosion?
This is a product created by a few guys named Declan, Spencer and Raj. It's been designed to help beginners make $10k per month in an easy to follow system. According to the website this is the 'lazy' way to creating a full-time income.
This PROVEN and Tested 10k/mo "Lazy Profit" System EXPLODES Profits In Just 24 Hours Even If You Have No List, No Product, & No Online Assets
The sales video provides income proof that this system is working super well and talks about how easy it's going to achieve awesome results. As you probably know, the majority of sales videos in this space are full of it but I purchased it anyway to see for myself and share what I found.
Essentially, this is about driving paid traffic to affiliate offers through YouTube advertising. One of the most important elements in any online business is knowing how to drive traffic to your offers effectively. There's no doubt that video marketing presents an awesome opportunity for marketers and theoretically can deliver the kinds of results promised by these guys.
That is, if you know what you are doing and have the budget!
On the way into the members area you are greeted with 2 upsells totalling $74 which is pretty standard stuff. If you skip past each one the price reduces a fair chunk.
#1 LPE Pro: This is the 'pro' version of the course which costs $27 and reduces to $17 if you skip through. Apparently some kind of WordPress plugin that is going to double your profit and some traffic secrets.
#2 Master Template: Apparently Raj is giving you his exact template for making this whole system work and some traffic tips etc. This costs $47 and reduces to $27 if you skip ahead.
The Welcome PDF
This is the very first piece of content you are given upon entering the members area. It provides a basic overview of the training and how the whole concept works. One of the main things you are going to be doing within this program is creating a video ad and the only piece of training that shows you how to do this in within this PDF so you should read this. The method of creating a video is simple. Go to Fiverr.com (cheap freelance platform) and pay someone $5 to make one for you.
The trouble with this part of the training is that it's not very newbie friendly since there is almost no training on choosing a niche, what kinds of content should be included in the video or anything of that nature. They do give you some good tips on selecting a video service but overall the training on this key aspect is very basic.
To make this system work you're going to want to choose a really good video creator who understands your objective and how to market on YouTube effectively, or start studying! Simply instructing folks to "use Fiverr" isn't revealing the exact steps to 10k monthly. Turns out they are the one's being lazy here.
The 4 Main Training Modules Explained
There are 4 main training modules containing 18 short videos that explain the system and show you how to create your first campaign.
The most frustrating part about this was how the videos show you how to do everything in what appears to be the OLD version of Adwords. Overall, everything is similar but you could easily become frustrated if you are trying to follow this step-by-step as a newbie. In all fairness, platforms do get updated fairly regularly so this is really just bad timing more than anything.
It might be worth referring to the official Adwords help centre to help you along the way.
The training starts off with a basic introduction video and 3 addittional videos on setting up your first campaign and getting things rolling. There are some useful insights into setting up your targeting groups within your campaigns here and how to drill down into your niche to get more specific with your ads.
The first video is about linking up your YouTube channel to your Adwords account which is helpful as it will unlock addittional benefits and allow you to get the full advantage from this method of advertising. The second video talks about the different types of YouTube ads including the 'in-line and 'display ads' and which is better.
In-Stream ads are video advertisements served on the YouTube videos you select (through broad or narrow targeting options) and which appear typically before the original video plays. You only pay for the ad IF the user doesn't skip the ad and watches more than 30 seconds. If you video is shorter than 30 seconds and the user watches the whole thing, that's when you pay. Pretty cool. There is also an option to display a 'companion' ad on the sidebar at no extra cost which is a great feature YouTube offers.
Display ads are ads that appear to the right of the video or on the top of the video suggestions list. This is not really what the training focusses on but this is explained. Another option you are shown is the CTA overlays which are ads that appear 'over' video content and can be clicked.
The rest of this module talks about copying existing campaigns and shows you addittional features of the Adwords platform you can use to maximise results.
This module is dedicated to helping you understand how your campaigns are performing. One of the key ways to improve any campaign on any advertising medium is knowing how to track how your audience is interacting with your ads. By doing this you can improve your campaigns which results in higher conversions and lower advertising costs.
Learning how to understand reports and filter out the lower performing segments and fine tune your campaign is key to maximising your results. Very worthwhile.
The best part about this module is the second video on 'remarking' which is all about showing your video ads to certain groups of your audience who have already seen the ads previously. For example, you can use the remarking feature to select a group of say 5000 people who've seen one particular ad but didn't take the desired action. Your goal is to tailor an ad specifically to this group and offer them a highly targeted call to action. Something like "you didn't buy this product earlier, how's about $10 off just for you?".
This is a very effective way to market given how targeted it is and it's definitely worthwhile taking advantage of. In order to get to that point though, you need to have run a campaign for long enough to get some data to work with.
Case Study: This is a brief PDF that (for me) was a bit of a let down. The way they marketed this I was expecting an over the shoulder video case study of a real campaign going from nothing to profit. Nope. Unfortunately, it's just a basic PDF and nothing to get too excited about in my opinion.
The remaining bonuses are actually very cool though and considering you only paid $16.95 to get them, they represent awesome value! You are getting access to 4 real products at no extra cost so there's no denying this is great value. I'll give you a brief overview of each below and if I end up reviewing each one properly on another post, I'll link to it below.
InstaProfit Machine: This is an 8 video training on making money with Instagram. I haven't gone into Instagram marketing myself yet but it does appear to be a very effective strategy for driving low cost, high quality traffic.
3 Day Cash Machine: This is a PDF about creating your own product created by Spencer and does provide some pretty cool insights into bootstrapping your first product. Worth a read.
Tube Commission Sniper: Product teaching you how to leverage YouTube video marketing created by Mike Appleton. It's basically about doing product review videos and getting them ranked organically in search. This is definitely an effective strategy in itself but I haven't gone through the training on this fully so not sure how great it is.
Social Leads Sniper: Also created by Mike Appleton, this is a useful training on leveraging free Twitter and Instagram traffic to make money promoting affiliate products. This looks like a pretty decent product and contains a video case study which is cool.
What I Liked
- Effective paid traffic strategy for promoting affiliate products or your own products
- Very low cost
- Tons of extra value in the bonus products
- Decent amount of training and it's straight to the point
What I Didn't Like
- This is not going to take you from newbie to 10k without investing more time, effort and money
- Relies exclusivley on paid traffic which could become quite costly, especially as a beginner
- Very little training on choosing niche or creating a video
- Videos walk you through an old version of Adwords which is a little frustrating
- Overhyped sales material making the whole thing sound a lot easier and simpler than it will be
After going through the training it's safe to say this is not a scam and does provide you with some worthwhile insights. The training on leveraging YouTube ads is good and you get a bunch of added value for free which is really cool.
That said, I do feel the training was missing some vital information and insights and would probably have beginners confused about choosing a niche, creating a video and putting all of this together. At the very least you will need to spend some time researching and playing around with a test campaign to get a feel for Adwords and video advertising in general. Maybe the 'Master Template' or 'Pro' upsells would fill in some gaps where the base training is lacking.
Either way, this will take time, effort and work just like any other business and won't make you 10k per month by being 'lazy' as the name suggests. It can also be risky starting out with paid traffic if you are new to internet marketing so I recommend being careful there. If you're looking to get into video marketing and have some money to invest in paid traffic, then this is definitely worth the $17.
I spent years listening to 'gurus' which left me broke, frustrated and totally lost. There's only ONE program that helped me create a real income online, here's how it helped me succeed...
