Program Name: Mega Cycler
Summary: An mlm matrix system comprising of 4 different cycles. It is marketed using a lot of hype and overlooks the important details that I explain below. I do not recommend this as a legitimate online business.
Price: $19 – $50
The website is supposedly owned by ‘Terry Burns’ which is someone I cannot find any information about online.
In my opinion, this is a Ponzi scheme. Why?
Because old members get paid using revenue gained through new recruits. The result of such a scheme is an inevitable collapse once recruiting slows.
How It Works
On the sale page we are hit with the usual hype about how amazing it is and in the process are given a grossly oversimplified example as to how this works. Even after signing up you are still not given training that properly explains this.
We are show the example of a 4 cycles that each get smaller as we go along and somehow pay out more money. One thing is for sure, you do not fill the 2nd, 3rd and 4th cycles by just directly sponsoring people. To fill up cycles 2-4 you must use the same referrals as in cycle 1.
In other words, it only works when your original referrals ‘follow you through the matrix’ by doing what you have done.
This is an example of your first cycle that took you 14 recruits to fill:
Cycle 1 Total= $100
Now to fill up the second cycle you have to help your original team members fill up their first cycle. This means a total of 48 extra referrals:
Cycle 2 Total= $200 + Matching Bonus of $300 since you helped 6 people complete their very first cycle.
Total so far= $600 for 62 total new referrals.
As you start to get into the 3rd and 4th cycles these numbers blow way out into the hundreds of new recruits.
The point is that this is going to take an absolute boatload of new recruiting to get anywhere near the 4th cycle. Do not be fooled by the website’s over simplified marketing material that shows the cycles getting smaller.
Yes, the cycle itself does get smaller, but to fill it up requires an ever increasing number of referrals coming into the system.
The Feeder Program
There is also a $19 feeder program which is much simpler in nature as there is only 1 cycle that repeats itself over and over. This is a 2×2 forced matrix meaning you only need 6 recruits all up to make $50. This is a second income stream.
The Bonuses Aren’t Very Great
The link to the so called $29,000 bonus website is broken and leads no where so that is a total crock.
The other bonuses comprise of a ton of generic and outdated PLR ebooks to flog to your list or learn something you could learn more accurately anywhere online for free by reading a blog or watching a YouTube video.
The bonus section also contains some affiliate links to various up sells like traffic sources etc.
In order to make this work you need traffic, plain and simple. Without this you will never, and I mean never, make money with this or any other online business model.
The give you some free banner and text ad rotations upon paying your $50 but that won’t take you very far with this.
To be successful will absolutely require you to buy tons of traffic to your banners and the same website you joined that is coded with your unique affiliate link. This will get very expensive and using the methods they show, not very effective.
If you are going to be spending tons of money on advertising you really want to be building your subscriber list in the process to re-market to these people and build a relationship with them over time. That way you have the opportunity to make a lot more money over and over again regardless of whether they join your cycler or not.
They give you some email swipes (ready made email text) to use in your email campaigns but if you do not even have an autoresponder you have no way of using these properly. One email will not do anything, you need to be talking to your subscribers regularly.
Hence the need for an email autoresponder and training on how t use it in conjunction with an opt-in page.
The bottom line is that you need tons of traffic to make this work and you are not being equipped with the tools and training to build your business effectively. You are also directed towards bottom of the barrel traffic generation methods like solo ads, spamming other marketer’s subscriber lists.
What I Liked
- If you can drive traffic and sign up people willing to work, you might make some ok money before this ponzi scheme falls back on itself
What I Didn’t Like
- There is no legitimate product being sold, all payments are made from newly recruited investments
- The marketing is full of hype
- The program is not explained properly
- Half the links in the bonus section don’t work
- Support is limited to a contact form
- Training is poor and the tools are average at best
While it is certainly possible to make money with this it is not a good idea to go into it thinking you’ll just pay $50 and away you go. Unfortunately, that is far from reality.
You are paying for a position in the matrix and the ability to sign up others under you, without paying for hordes of traffic this alone will not do anything.
You also need to understand how to maximise your advertising dollars by building a list instead of just sending your traffic straight to the sales page, you are not shown this.
After considering these things and the fact that it’s a textbook Ponzi scheme I do not recommend this as a good online business opportunity.
I spent years listening to 'gurus' which left me broke, frustrated and totally lost. There's only ONE program that helped me create a real income online, here's how it helped me succeed...
